18 January 2025: Play & Sing Day

Join Spires Music for a chance to sing and play excerpts from Bach's dramatic masterpiece, his St John Passion. Complete with soloists, the day will consist of separate and joint choral and orchestral rehearsals, comfortable tea breaks and an afternoon tea before an free, informal performance at 16:30-17:30. All are welcome to join us at 16:00 for a spot of tea and cake before the final run-through. Vocal scores and orchestral parts will be available on the day. Morning refreshments and afternoon tea provided but participants are requested to bring their own lunch.

13:30-14:30 - Lunch Break

14:30-16:00 - Rehearsal 3

16:00-16:30 - Afternoon Tea (All welcome)

16:30-17:30 - Informal Performance (Free of charge)
